Evangelist Earnestine Rembert

Biography

Healing Home Ministry: As an Evangelist, my mission is to reach out to the lost and the unloved and to tell them the Good news. My heart’s desire is to see all people come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Also to heal the sick, to see people set free and delivered (mind, body, and soul). I believe this to be God’s will for my life because of where and what God has brought me through.

From an early age, God had to me to pray for healing for myself and others. Every evening after school, I would go into the woods by myself and cry out to God for my family. I would pray that God would provide clothing for my 14 brothers and sisters. I would pray that God would give my mother and father direction on how to raise us. If anyone had done any wrong to me, I would go into the woods and tell Jesus all about it.

At three years of age I accidentally drank a bottle of kerosene that nearly killed me. Being the daughter of a farmer, my parents did not have the means to seek medical attention, but it was their prayers and faith in God that kept me alive. Years later at age 15, my right leg swelled up so large that I could barely walk. I remember the Holy Spirit leading me to the field to gather some weeds to boil in a pot. The Holy Spirit then led me to soke my swollen leg in the water. Needless to say the swelling went down and I never had a problem with my leg ever again.

When I was 23 years of age I was diagnosed with tuberculosis. There was a cyst that formed on my right lung. When I checked in to the hospital I weighed 85lbs and was very weak and could barely walk. I was in the hospital for almost a year. While in the hospital I would write to Oral Robinson every week. He had written back, encouraging me in Christ which led me to pray for healing for myself. I met women from all over the world. Some of them were there for nearly two years or more. Most of these women had not seen there families for the duration of time they were in the hospital. All they wanted was to go home to their families.

God began to use me to pray for the sick. Every night, I would go around and pray for the sick women. The more and more I prayed with these women, the more and more I would see God move. Most of the women were released from the hospital and sent home to their families. There was one lady in particular who had been there for two years. After praying with her she was sent home. Another woman was in desperate need of a lung, God completely restored her lung. After all the women on my floor were sent home, I was there alone. Finally after months of testing, x-rays, and treatments, the doctors told me that they would have to remove the cyst from my right lung which was causing me to be ill.

I cried out to God to heal my body without having to go through an operation. The night before the operation, I had a visitation from the Holy Spirit. He came in the form of a little boy dressed in a glowing white suite and stood at the end of my bed. He told me that I would not have to go through with the operation. God had already healed me and that I would be going home soon. The next morning, I told the nurses what the Holy Spirit told me the night before. No one believed me; I was prepped and taken to the operating room. In the operating room, the surgeons could not find a pulse, there machine’s had failed, they thought I went into a state of shock. At that point the doctors could not proceed with the operation. Two to three months later, I was released from the hospital with the cyst still present on my lung. Nearly 47 years later, I never had a problem with my lungs again.

From then on, I have gone into missionary work for families, street ministry, and nursing home and hospital ministries in Newark, New Jersey. I have been a part of early child care for nearly 40 years where I have spent countless hours ministering to families. I am currently devoting all of my time to the ministry.
